Who's SORN-y now?

I've just declared the Banana Bus "out of action" (via the wonders of the DVLA's online service I might add) and I feel a nagging sense of betrayal.

I know it makes financial (and common) sense given that we're not going to get any use out of it between now and the summer holidays but I can't help feeling that I've let the bus down.

Hopefully the feeling will dissipate and I can make it up to the old fella with a good long jaunt in the summer months.

It wasn't quite what I had in mind when I thought about taking the van offroad...

Hey Jealousy...

Itching to get back out on the road in the big yellow beast. Gail's wee sister has been in touch to ask for recommendations for a potential upcoming west-coast motorhome trip and I've been digging around the old posts on Applecross, Gairloch, Ullapool and the likes.

I suppose I could have gone all Pete McCarthy and kept it a secret but frankly that would have been unkind and, when you've got loonies like Monty Halls telling the world and its wife all about the joys of Wester Ross on national telly then it's the beginning of the end anyway!


I'm going to start bigging-up Skegness and Cleethorpes in the secret hope that others will follow, that'll keep the West Coast clearer...doh!
