Journeys in the Banana Bus

I've just declared the Banana Bus "out of action" (via the wonders of the DVLA's online service I might add) and I feel a nagging sense of betrayal.

I know it makes financial (and common) sense given that we're not going to get any use out of it between now and the summer holidays but I can't help feeling that I've let the bus down.

Hopefully the feeling will dissipate and I can make it up to the old fella with a good long jaunt in the summer months.

It wasn't quite what I had in mind when I thought about taking the van offroad...
