B is also for...

...bastards. Cant say too much due to police investigation but uffice to sy that on Friday night a gang of gits broke into our van, had a bit of a booze up and proceeded to trash it...kids seats, extra custom made foam beds for up top, lights inside, sink panel...the list goes on and I feel sick to even think about it.

The smell of fags,drink and goodness only knows what else is hellish.

It's a good thing it wasn't parked, oooh, 40 yards from a police station, isn't it?

Scunnered of Strontian.

Blimey! Banana Bus Beta Blogging...

How odd. I was thinking about all those "B"s there and remembered an old Billy Connolly routine about algebra "how do you add letters? I dunno...one B is B, two Bs is a coupla Bs..." and thought it would be nice to "Google" it...what a storm it all kicked up: Billy on Algebra. It's true what Dave Gorman said, the internet has everything in the whole world...ever. It's easy to get distracted.

I digress.

As ever.

Anyhow...the point of this post was that I've "migrated" (dead exotic sounding) to BLOGGER 2 - they made me do it! I tried to resist their fancy new tags, RSS feeds and Atoms. What the hell are all those things? I need this: bewilderment explained. As it goes, I'm hoping that B2 (see, I'm into the jargon, though maybe it should be BBB2 - BananaBusBlogger2?) will make me more streamlined and efficient.

Like a T25.

Looks like we got ourselves a reader...

No idea why I thought to head up a post with a line from the great man. Anyway, as I seem to be forever saying here, not much going on on the bus front at the moment. Plans for the next few weeks/months:

* new seat covers to be made for the rear (Gail & friends!)
* anti-rust painty stuff to be applied
* new tyres (money permitting)
* IKEA or Au-Naturale cheapo rugs, cushions and blankets for that "Moroccan Bazaar" (bizarre more like) feel when the back seat is down...

Wow. Exciting or what? Slight concerns over the notion of holidaying in such a confined space with two children under five...yes, we managed a few days last summer (still no written record or pictures posted) but Maisie couldn't get about at that stage. The vision of a small child crashing around the bus whilst pots and kettles bubble on the gas hob is one I can't shake...

No. I'm not going to be the one sleeping in the awning...I don't do canvas.
