A dish at the door...
I was trying desperately to think of some witty melamine related title but everything I came up with was just a crock of s***. I thank you.
Anyway, we've been hunting high and low (okay, Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Mataland and Just Kampers) for some new plates and bowls to replace the old stuff from the van. So far we've had little success...Matalan's best attempt was a manky plastic affair which, we've learned from bitter IKEA experience, scores and marks terribly. A bit like a dyslexic cricket umpire. That really is poor.
Imagine, then, my delight on returning home yesterday to find a package from Pedlars sent to me by my sister-in-law containing these lovely fellows...

They're very delightful and a bit of a funky-retro type item...pity we don't have the '57 Split bus to go with them.
Isn't it lovely to have some things handed to you on a plate?
(sorry)
