You go out for the day...
...and this happens! I don't know, some people...All I did was take Ben and Maisie to Skye for the day on Monday and when we left the house our smelly old camper van cushions looked like this:

When we returned, a mere 8 hours later, someone had very thoughtfully turned the boards, some new foam and some jolly red and yellow material into this:

Well done Gail! Nearly there now...
As for Skye, very nice. Dry for a change - though chucking it down on the mainland - as we "foot passengered" over to Armadale from Mallaig. Bit of a bumpy crossing necessitating a coffee and a Kit Kat. Well, you can't be too careful about these things.
Once on the island we did a bit of wandering (Ben, Maisie, Me), some shouting and swearing at the crappy pram wheels (me), some whinging about being stuck in a pram (Maisie) and a bit of beachcombing (Ben).
Having exhausted the boundless potential (spent 5, maybe 6 minutes deciding the gardens were too pricey and the cafe/restaurant looked rubbish) of Armadale Castle and Gardens we turned round and headed towards Ardvasar where we had lunch in the Ardvasar hotel, which was perfectly nice in a sort of pub-lunchy kind of way. Which is what it was.
