Another lovely day in the garden...
...and more work on the van. Glorious weather and out comes the paint - "Soft Cream" from B&Q - to do the cupboard doors and some other panels.
Nearly overdosed on white spirit as I tried to remove gunky traces of paint applied by a previous owner onto the rubbery trim around some of the units. Despite plenty of ventilation I was nearly overcome with emulsion! (old joke...)
Anyhow, making some good progress and I got the fabric yesterday too. Nice red & yellow "large check" type thing from Dunelm Mill which is the same as the mat in the link. It will look nice with some new curtains which Gail's going to manufacture to go with the creamy paint...we've got some leftover curtain material in the house which will do the job nicely. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and all that...
Other news in the village in the form of a visitation from an Austin 7 with a tiny Ben-sized caravan, complete with electric hook-up and a wee telly! Ben took these...
I like that it says it's an "RV"
