If you expect a kick...
...in the balls, then a slap in the face is a victory. That's what Ardal O'Hanlon said. Disappointment is the theme.
Just Kampers sent me a 3 point seatbelt which (a) is broken, and (b) isn't any use for my van ("yeah, Securon have made a bit of a mess of that for us" said the JK man). What fun. Back to the drawing board, or at any rate the JK catalogue.
The van is still sitting, stripped inside but looking jolly on the outside nonetheless, in our back garden. Don't get the wrong idea - I've not carved up a pristine lawn or anything, I use the word garden in the loosest possible, acres of gravel and some raised beds sense...
We await a time window from our tame mechanic as MOT test time draws ever nearer. I'm not too bothered though. As long as we're up and running in time for the summer holidays (trip to North Wales? East Anglia? Yorkshire Dales? All three?) I'll be a happy camper. So will the Banana Bus.
