No, really. I don't believe it. After flagging up the (then) forthcoming second anniversary of the Banana Bus Blog some weeks ago, I completely forgot - due to circumstances outwith my control I might add - to mark the occasion with a ceremonial posting of some description.
I suppose that's only appropriate really given the appalling lack of posting that sometimes goes on - or does not go on - on this here blog.
Anyway, without further ado, the ceremonial 2nd Birthday Banana Blog post:
The Easter holidays are almost upon us, the nights are longer, the tempers are shorter (exhaustion? mental fatigue?) and so the time must be right to dust off the camping gear and crank up the bus. A brief overnighter (or two) to somewhere lovely, within easy reach, possibly somewhere as yet unvisited by us is surely the way to go.
I sense the far North West beckoning again. The unexplored reaches of Cape Wrath perhaps? Either that or we're going to end up in Dingwall again. Which can be no bad thing at times - there's a great bakery and a 24 hour Tesco. What more could a bussing family require...?
