The bus has not crashed. The driver is okay. No need to panic. Not that you were, or anything...
Excuses or reasons? The PC has been playing up, I've been busy and tired, there always seems to be some wood needing collected or chopped, the nights are fair drawing in, etc., etc...
So I'm back online, blogging away like a good 'un. Loads and loads has been happening since I last got it together enough to do anything to this site. For a start, we did manage to go (almost all the way)Round Ireland In A Wedge, which was nice. There's loads of pictures to upload and witty things to write, I may even manage to get it done at some point before Christmas.
I've been very much enjoying the Oliver chap's exploits in his vintage VW around Italy on Channel 4 of late. I know that, strictly speaking, that doesn't actually count as a Journey in the Banana Bus but I like to think that, if the opportunity arose, I would do the same thing...I may well have to base the whole tour/programme around banana related cuisine which, after a banana split and a slice of banoffee pie may prove something of a limiting factor. Hmmm. Anyone got a drawing board handy?
