Well now, not a lot of bus activity this week. Actually that's not strictly true, had the van into Heriothill Garage on Monday to get them to sort the horn, which they were meant to have fixed about 7 weeks ago...it works now! Toot toot.
They also said they could sort me out with a quote for getting the bodywork done and a bit of a respray, maintaining the Banana Bus colouring of course! I've to drop him off on Friday to have them look things over...Russel (their bodywork guy) has advised against what's known as a "bare metal respray" as, apparently that's only necessary when replacing loads of panels, besides which, you lose the VW factory primer coat with bare metal job, and Russel thinks the factory coat is a pretty good one.
So that's interesting.
