Journeys in the Banana Bus

The indicator incident last week was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak...well, the thing that finally finished off the horn anyway. Ages ago the garage I usually take the bus to had told me that the horn ring was badly worn and was pretty much dead. I fiddled about with the connections and for the last few months the horn has worked fine.

However, last week's mishap finished it off and the ring is in a bad way...

...so Heriothill Garage in Leith kindly supplied a new (well, new to me) steering wheel. It's a bit slippier than the old one and no doubt I'll find out that I could simply have replaced the horn ring...oh well.
